Bitesize Irish Gaelic is a culmination of our experience with providing a flavor of the Irish language online since 1995. This isn’t our only spot on-line. Eoin founded (but since sold) IrishGaelicTranslator.com, Irish-Sayings.com and Irishionary.com.

We live in Luimneach/Limerick in Ireland. The idea of Bitesize Irish Gaelic came about during a relaxing holiday in Ljutomer, Slovenia, with a combination of sun, Lasko Pivo, and hard thinking. Sasa claims to have come up with the name.

About Sasa

Sasa herself is a learner of Irish Gaelic, as she lives in Limerick but comes from Slovenia. This means she has first-hand experience with what other learners need to know to get comfortable with speaking the language. She holds a B.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Ljubljana.

About Eoin

Eoin is a native Irish Gaelic speaker, being brought up through the language. He holds a Ph.D. in Global Software Development from the University of Limerick. He has always been somewhat of a techy (yes, a nerd).
